NexTier Junior Bank Board invites you to walk or run for the United Way of Butler County
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – April 27, 2007: Whatever your age or speed, endurance or stamina, NexTier Bank’s Junior Bank Board (JBB) welcomes you to register for its first-ever 5-K Run on Saturday, May 19, 2007.
The JBB planned this fundraising event for 2007 and selected the Butler County United Way as its beneficiary. The event takes place at Alameda Park, 84 Alameda Park Road, in Butler. R egistration is at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. The 3.1-mile Run begins and ends at the Carousel Shelter and is a paved course. The e ntry fee is$18. The 12-member Junior Bank Board, now in its fifth year, plans and coordinates its annual fundraising event under the mentorship of Jennifer Roxbury, SVP, NexTier Bank. The Board’s membership changes with each school year. The 2007 Board includes the following students from Butler County school districts: Lauren Southworth, Jeff Mitch (Butler Area); Tim Berteotti, Charlie Beck ( Karns City); Madelynn Marburger, Matt Kennedy, Bryan Humphreys (Mars Area); Louis Butler, David Myers ( Seneca Valley); Chad Stanley (Slippery Rock); Kaitlyn Lucas, Jacob Timko ( South Butler). Last year, the JBB held a bowlathon and raised $2,500 for the Butler County United Way.
