Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the entry level position in the Bank’s retail branches. The CSR immediately takes his/her place in the front-line of customer service. To many of our retail customers, the CSR and the rest of the customer service staff “are” the Bank. The CSR is a position of trust and integrity. He/She accepts ownership of non-complex questions and problems directed toward him/her and sees all such issues through to their resolution. The CSR is primarily responsible for the accurate, efficient, and courteous processing of retail customer transactions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. Additionally, the CSR understands and promotes the sale of NexTier Bank products and services to satisfy customer needs. He/She is responsible for the management and balancing of his/her drawer on a daily basis. The CSR provides work to the Proof, Cash, Accounting, Loan and Bookkeeping Departments. The CSR understands the importance of protecting the bank from fraud and overdraft losses. In addition to the specific duties listed below, the CSR performs all other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalency; Two years of Cash handling/Customer Service Experience; Basic Knowledge of a Personal Computer.
